Troy Cleary and Malcolm Polzin are the proprietors of The Hair Room. Troy commencing his hairdressing career in 1992 & Malcolm having managerial/retail experience starting in 1988 both Troy & Malcolm purchased The Hair Room in early 2006 & quickly became a successful salon. They are both locals with a love of Teneriffe/New Farm and have a passion for the hairdressing industry. With a salon makeover & stocking Australia's number 1 colour product, Wella Professionals to achieve beautiful colour results, the clientele were intrigued & started putting their hair in the hands of The Hair Room.
 
At The Hair Room we listen to you, your expert stylist will consult you for each and every appointment and use only the finest products from Wella Professionals for colouring, because you deserve only the very best. And our quality retail products including Sebastian, Wella SP, Pureology, Awapuhi Wild Ginger (by Paul Mitchell), American Crew, Joico and ghd ensure that after you leave the salon you can be confident your style will stay the way it should. Our stylists will take pride in giving you the one to one service you deserve, our creative team of stylists have been carefully handpicked in order to provide you with the best possible result.
 
It is our aim at The Hair Room to provide you with a truly pleasurable experience whilst fulfilling your hair and beauty expectations. At The Hair Room, relaxation is the key word; indeed it is our goal to spoil you, to give you a welcome break from the stresses of the outside world. The team focus on individual client needs with attention to detail through quality hairdressing and friendly service. The team believe that a good hairdresser is one that continues to educate and evolve with the ever changing fashion of hairdressing so to bring you the very latest in hair fashion the team attend seminars, advanced courses and hair/fashion shows. This allows our stylists and colourists to tailor a complete new look for each client based on their wants and lifestyle needs.
 
We also offer a vip member card in which you purchase & then save every time you have a service or purchase your home hair care at The Hair Room. As well we sell Gift Cards to any amount which can be ordered through our website or purchased at reception are the ideal gift for someone special whether it be for someone who has everything, Birthdays, Christmas or just for that special occasion, can be used for either Hair Services OR any of the hair care which we have in salon.
 
Complimentry Colour Consultations are available, 24 hour cancellation notice of appointments is required. A 25% surcharge applies for no show appointments. The Hair Room reserve the right to cancel non confirmed appointments.
 
Apart from accepting Cash as form of payment we also accept Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard & also American Express (NB: American Express Cards incur a 3.5% on total amount of sale) Please Note: We "DO NOT" accept cheques under any circumstances.
