    Tues 19th - 10am - 9pm

    Wed 20th - 10am - 9pm

    Thurs 21st - 9am - 5.30pm

    Fri 22nd - CLOSED

    Sun 24th - CLOSED

    Mon 25th - CLOSED

    Tues 26th - CLOSED

    About HIV

    Human Immunodeficiency Virus is transmissible through bodily fluids such as blood. With time, HIV causes Acquired Immunodeficiency Disease, which is not communicable. HIV positive individuals need special health care and support from their community to live free from discrimination.

    We need to understand HIV and what it means to be HIV positive to properly support the individuals living with the virus. Through support, we can educate how to prevent HIV transmission.

    World AIDS Day is one of the most globally recognised event of the year. World AIDS Day is celebrated across Australia to raise awareness in the community about the issues surrounding HIV/AIDS.

    The theme for World AIDS Day 2010 is Take Action. No Discrimination. The aim is to encourage all Australians to be aware of the prelavence of HIV/AIDS; to take action to reduce the transmission of HIV by promoting safe sex practices; and to accept individuals living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

    HIV positive people need to be empowered in society to strengthen community spirit, feel included and educate on HIV and AIDS. They have the right to participate in the community free from stigma and discrimination.

    Not only is 2010 racing, the race that stops the nation, Melbourne Cup in Tues 2nd November! The Hair Room will be "Closed" on this day.

    As Tuesday is normally our late trading until 9pm, we will be trading Wednesday 3rd from 10am - 9pm & again Thursday 4th November.
